resources on topics that affect the quality of life for children and families.

Suitable for parents and caregivers, these online sessions include topics and information aimed at improving the quality of life for children and their families.  Attendees will learn strategies, tips, and resources, and following the presentation receive a copy of the slide presentation, resource list, and Q&A record.

November 21st from 6:00 – 7:00 pm – Getting Our Kids Active and Why it Matters for Kids with Disabilities

November 29th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm – Sexuality Matters – Teaching Privacy, Consent, and Boundaries at Any Age

TRANSITIONS

Join Glenrose clinicians for online presentations identifying the necessary tasks, considerations, and resources to gradually prepare for your youth’s transition to adulthood.

These sessions are most appropriate for parents of children aged 12 years and up.

October 11th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm – Financial Resources for Adults Living with Disabilities

November 1st from 6:30 – 8:00 pm – Guardianship, Trusteeship, and Medical Consent: Will Your Child Need Decision-Making Support as an Adult?

November 22nd from 6:30 – 8:00 pm – Recreation and Community connections for People with Complex Needs

November 29th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm – Sexuality Matters – Teaching Privacy, Consent, and Boundaries at Any Age
