Centre-Based Respite (Members Only)
Ages 5-12

Respite provides families with short-term, temporary relief allowing parents time to rest, relax and rejuvenate while children are given an opportunity to socialize and engage in recreational activities in a supervised setting.

Respite includes children ages 5-12 who are toilet trained or will use the toilet when prompted. This program is for families who are members of the Centre.

Each week will offer multiple activities to choose from, utilizing the WHOLE space at our new building! Activities might include:

  • arts & crafts
  • preparing and eating small snacks in the NEW Quest Kitchen
  • Watching a movie in the cozy NEW Clubhouse
  • Gym activities in the NEW gym and Outdoor Space (outdoors weather-permitting)

Don’t forget! Bring your own water bottle, a snack, and any necessary toileting items.

The registration deadline for each Saturday is the Monday prior. Open to current Centre members only.

COVID-19 Precautions Being Taken

The Centre continues to assess recommendations being made by municipal and provincial governments. We want the Centre to be a safe, inviting, and engaging place for all participants. We strive to strike a balance between safety and fun for our participants, families, program leads, and volunteers.

Updates will be posted on our website. You will be notified of any changes to programs you have registered for via email or phone call from the program coordinator.
